Hello there! My name is Lydia, and I want to share with you some things about me. I have been in the hair industry since 2014. My biggest inspiration that brought me to this industry was fashion. From a very young age, I loved to dress up my friends with clothing, hair, and makeup. As I dug deeper, I found that beauty and creativity can be explored through hair design. I started my journey in 10th grade at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology. I fell in love with the way hair blends and the movement you can create with just a little touch of love. This is when I decided I wanted to dedicate my creativity towards being a cosmetologist.

Since I’ve been on this journey I’ve been searching for my habitat. I worked at a small mom and pop shop for a few years. I found myself needing more, which led me to finding a high end salon. Over the years, while building my craft, confidence, and determination, I have also been constantly educating myself.

 

During the year of 2020 I was able to take a step back and analyze myself and my life. I knew that something needed to change. A new door was opening creating a new path in my career. This is when I made the decision to take the next step forward in starting this new adventure, Well Rooted Salon.
